It has been ages beyond AGES since I have logged on to DeviantArt and done anything more than browse.

I do sign in occasionally to browse through my old photos and those of the people I watch, however that's basically it! Life has simply run away with me the past few years.

The last time I updated my journal entry I was soon-to-be 21 years old. I just turned 23 in December 2011. I'm graduating from college in May with a degree in Environmental Science. I haven't picked up my camera in well over two years. But I'm still riding horses, still working, still writing fiction. So not everything has changed!

I think I also became frustrated with how heavy the traffic was becoming on this website. I had used my gallery as a means of developing a skill and receiving feedback. It seemed with each month my work was buried deeper into the hustle and bustle of the busy website. It simply wasn't worth posting new photos that I wanted critiqued, only to be disappointed when none were received.

Anyway, just wanted to update this journal so it didn't look as forlorn as it did. I hope that once I graduate and things slow down I can get back into photography again. It's a hobby I dearly miss and looking back at my gallery brought back all of the happy memories of finding subjects, editing the photos, and posting the final results.

Thank you to those who continue to glance at my page now and again or add a photo to their favorites list. Even if it takes me months to say "thank you" I truly do appreciate everything I have learned from the many talented artists on this website.

Happy posting everyone!
